Can you tell the difference between different parabolic antennas? 

The axial or front feed antenna, the off-axis or offset feed, the Cassegrain or Gregorian antennas? The Cassegrain antenna has a convex secondary reflector. It allows for complicated feeds and electronics. A Cassegrain satellite antenna design was first adapted from the Cassegrain telescope. The original telescope was developed in 1672. On the other side, a Gregorian antenna has a concave reflector. Antenna components include a Low Noise Block (LNB) converter, a parabolic dish. If the antenna needs to follow a satellite, such as in low earth orbit, a motor is used. Precision in the motor’s movement is critical.
